How can we ensure that all document sent for destruction at InfoZafe is safe? |
InfoZafe handles all document with high security. You can also monitor closely the status of the document at every
stage. From your office, the discarded document is packed in a bag sealed tightly and assigned with serial number.
It will then be transported in a container truck installed with GPS system for easy status and location monitoring.
Once it arrives in our facility which has tight Access Control system, the document will be transferred into the secure
destruction system. Every activity in the destruction process is recorded by closed-circuit TV. You may also view the
destruction of your discarded information by visiting our plant, viewing through realtime online broadcast
(INFOZAFE e-Connect), or viewing from a video CD that we record for you. |

How international-standard document destruction is better than recycling? |
Recycling means making new paper from used or waste paper. Document security is not controlled in the recycling
process. As a result, the document or information will be handled in an open process which is posed to risk of leakage.
Information destruction is different. The destruction process, which is based on international standard, requires all
discarded document to be handled in closed system, from start to finish. Document pickup, transport and destruction
are done under tight security control before the destroyed document is passed on to the recycling process, a way to
help reduce impact on the environment. |

is instructed by customer. After destruction, InfoZafe will issue a Certificate of Destruction to customers. |

What are the differences between off-site and on-site shredding? |
Off-site shredding is to transport discarded document from customers’ office to our plant for destruction. The entire
process from document pickup to transport and destruction is tightly controlled and monitor to ensure maximum
security. This process is good for customers with huge volume of discarded information. Our facility can destroy large
volume of information quickly.
On-site shredding is to destroy discarded information at customers’ venue using our mobile truck. This is ideal for
information that cannot be moved out of the customers’ premises.
Both methods are equally secure and comply with NAID standard. So, it’s up to you to choose the method that best
suit your needs.

Should we remove Staples pins and paper clips from the document before sending them to InfoZafe? |
No need. Our machine can destroy them properly. |
Why do most companies go for document storage outsourcing rather than storing them within their
premises? |
Document storage service providers usually develop and use advanced document storage programs which provide
greater convenience, speed and accuracy in document retrieving and handling. In addition, the facility is well
designed for easy storage and tracking. High security system is deployed with Access Control system, closed-circuit
TV, fire protection, insect and pest control. By outsourcing document storage to a reliable supplier, you will have
more free space in your office for other activities and free your staff from workload. |

How can we be sure of document security when it is stored at InfoZafe’s facility? |

• Triple Cross-Checking: a system that cross checks the accuracy of volume and number of document storage boxes
in three steps, from document pickup to transport and storage. The system uses state-of-the-art software designed
specially for this purpose.
• Transport truck with GPS for all time monitoring
• Access Control system for entrance and exit from the storage premise
• 24-hour closed circuit TV
• Fire alarm and protection
• Pest control system
• Numbered seal to ensure that no one else opens your document storage boxes |
